Valedictorian
The F.H. Collins Valedictorian is a celebration of the highest academic achievement amongst our graduating students. In addition, the student(s) selected must also be exemplary representative(s) of the graduating class. The valedictorian(s) for the F.H. Collins Secondary Class of 2022 will be chosen as the 1 or 2 students with the highest average score in English 12 plus three other academic courses.
In addition to the title of class valedictorian(s), the Department of Education provides a cash award to each school for the valedictorian(s).
If a valedictorian engages in behaviour unbecoming of someone representing the graduating class, the title can be revoked. This decision will be at the discretion of the school principal.
